What will happen with my REBELLE account?

Your personal data such as your name, your birthdate, your country, address and bank details will not be transferred and you will have to enter them again. ​

This data will remain with REBELLE and will not be passed on. We are obliged to store the data for the time being, but after the closure of the old platform and no later than September 2024, your data will be gradually anonymised or deleted, unless it is needed to for the return of concierge items or accounting and tax regulations require us to keep certain information longer.

​If you wish to transfer your REBELLE profile to Vinted, we need your consent to do so.

​Once you give us this consent, you will not be able to choose which data is transferred. However, as long as you only give your consent but do not follow the link that is sent to you, your data will not be transferred.

If you consent to move your account, we will be happy to transfer the following informations, so that your order history can continue to run as smoothly as possible:

  • Listings (Unsold listings that are in line with Vinted Catalog rules)
  • Preferences (user sizes, favourites brands, favourited items, favourited members)
  • Profile information (profile picture, user ID, if user is pro seller, language)
  • Other (date and time of the agreement to move your account)

Information that we will not share includes the following:

  • Sold, returned or cancelled items
  • Questions and comments about your items
  • Filters you have saved
  • The list of your most recently viewed products
  • Your date of birth
  • Country details
  • First and last name, as well as your profile name
  • Your email address and password
  • Your telephone number
  • Delivery and billing address
  • Bank and credit card details
  • Newsletter registration
  • Price suggestions and reductions
  • Your shopping basket
  • Your sales contracts

Please note one exception: Your email address will automatically be transferred to Vinted.


Why does Rebelle transfer my email address to Vinted?


By joining forces with Vinted we want to provide you with all the benefits resulting from this. As part of this process, we want to share the email address you use on the Rebelle platform with Vinted, UAB that will store and use it for the purpose of performing financial analyses and maximize user benefits from the integration with the Vinted platform. This is based on the legitimate interest of Vinted to understand the success of the switching process, and make informed decisions on continuously improving its services while bringing value to its members. In line with the data processing requirements, Vinted will store email addresses of Rebelle users for a period of 2 years after the start of the user switching (i.e. until February 19th 2026). We want to assure you that email addresses will only be used by Vinted for the aforementioned analysis and not for commercial, marketing or similar purposes.


If I do not want my email address to be transferred to Vinted, how can I opt out?


In order to opt out from the email transfer, please kindly send an email to hello@rebelle.com by February 19th 2024. Email addresses will be automatically transferred unless users opt out by the moving start date.
